You can't skip out on Sambadromo, located in the Centro, is something you can't miss. The notes of samba and fiery vibe will lead you to the biggest carnival parade of samba dancers in the world.



If you're a history buff you can't miss out on Lapa and Santa Teresa, historical neighborhoods with traces of colonialist and neo classical architecture. They're connected by a Santa Teresa tram, built on an ancient aquaduct,



The world class beaches are Copacabana and Ipanema and they're a must see. The Copacabana beach is flanked by colonial era fortresses.



Rio doesn't lack affluent neighborhoods and such are Leblon and Ipanema. if you love shopping, exclusive restaurants and brands and private white sand beaches this is the area for you.
